WHY I CREATED CATALYST
I'm Lance Dreesen.
I’ve spent most of my adult life making things happen in an industry where it can feel like you’re always waiting for someone else to say yes.
I’ve worked as a writer, director, producer, and teacher. I’ve made films I’m proud of, alongside some extraordinary actors. And I’ve also known what it feels like to pour everything into a project and still wonder why it didn't open the doors I hoped it would.
That’s a big part of why Catalyst exists.
Not because I have a magic formula.
Because I’ve learned that creative people have far more power than we’re led to believe, and I’ve experienced firsthand what becomes possible when we begin to use it.
